Just like the sunshine through our windows, the friends were beaming with excitement for our special end of the year show and tell. But, before the friends could share their special something they took part in free choice play that included:

-piecing together puzzles

-drawing with various different markers and adding details with tape

-using glue and loose part materials to create one of a kind artwork sculptures

-driving cars down ramps

For circle time, the Red Room and Blue Room friends came together to listen to Miss. Debbie, the librarian, read "Some Bugs" by Andela Diterlizzi. After the friends helped her tell a felt board story about the "Five Little Ladybugs" and enjoyed playing a final hide and seek game to find the firefly hidden behind the ladybugs.

Then the time had finally arrived...it was show and tell time! Each friend took a turn standing in front of the class to show what special item they brought in to share. They told us why it was special to them, and we clapped with pride for each friend after their turn.

To continue the fun, the friends took a walk outside, where we had a picnic snack of teddy graham bears and juice boxes. After the friends enjoyed running up and down the hill, riding bikes around the bike path, digging in the sand, and more!
