Dear Morning Red and Blue Room families,

Today at The Children's School, our friends...

... enjoyed seeing the large spider we created in the Discovery Area earlier this week hanging from the ceiling between the Red and Blue rooms. We recognized that it was on a pulley and the children took turns lowering and raising it by the rope web!

... shared the spider costume that we worked together to make for the Dramatic Play area.

... had fun lining chairs up in the Blue Room to make a train. At one point, every Blue Room friend was sitting in the train and playing together!

... relaxed and listened to stories being read on the Red Room rug.

... snacked on carrot sticks and wheat thin crackers.

Today was our last music class with Mrs. Hraber and we sang spider songs, played a parachute game, and used instruments such as rhythm sticks and tamborines. We gave her a card that we painted that looked like a music note and had our favorite things from music written on it. Then we shared hugs and a few friends extended invitations for Mrs. Hraber to come to their house...

We finished our day with another beautiful morning on the playground. A few of the friends got the chance to see the baby bunny that lives by our mud kitchen!

Have a wonderful weekend and we'll see everyone on Monday!
