The Children's School Three's Program 

The friends were as clever as spiders this morning!

 

For circle time, the red room:

- We read, "The Itsy Bitsy Spider" by Charise Merick Harper

- We sang, "Two Little Hands", "The Itsy Bitsy Spider" "Spiders have EIGHT!"

- We talked about spider's "hair" and how they molt - "Shed off hair when they grow too big"

 

For circle time in the blue room:

- Read, "Itsy Bitsy Spider" by Cathy Hamilton

- We created webs on geoboards

 

During Discovery Area, the friends:

- Found bugs in the bubbly water table

- Manipulated toy spiders on the light table

- Enjoyed free-hand easel drawing

- Added "hair" to our spider

- Enjoyed sifting sand in the sand table

 

The friends tasted Bananas and Sun Butter for snack!
