AM 3’s Workstudy (Tuesday and Thursday)– Tori Iatarola says - I am a psychology major and have minors in linguistics and cognitive neuroscience. I am from Chicago, IL and have an older brother and sister. I am concentrating my studies on developmental psychology so being at the children’s school is right where my passions and studies meet. It is so rewarding to watch them grow and develop skills throughout the year.
AM 3’s Volunteer (Wednesday) – Yuxuan Wang states – I am studying at the University of Pittsburgh majoring in Early Childhood Education. I’m from Beijing, China. The Children’s School is excellent and the staff is all very nice so I really enjoy working there.
AM 3’s Intern (Tuesday and Thursday) - Hi! My name is Jiwon Ban. I’m a junior at Carnegie Mellon University studying psychology and Hispanic studies. I was originally born in South Korea but lived in Norwood, New Jersey for the majority of my life. I’m excited to intern at the Children’s School because I’m interested in studying early childhood development and developing appropriate educational resources for kids. During my free time, I enjoy knitting, paddle boarding, and eating yummy foods! Thank you, Jiwon.
PM 3’s City High School Intern (Mondays and Wednesdays) – My name is Cynthia Scott and I am a senior at City Charter High School. In the future, I would like to study psychology and eventually become a correctional psychologist. The Children’s School was the best fit for my school internship because I can interact with children, which I love, while still dealing with psychology.
PM 3’s Intern – (Tuesdays and Thursdays) - My name is Michelle Kang and I am a senior at Carnegie Mellon University majoring in psychology. I’m taking a practicum in child development taught by Dr. Carver for the semester. I wish to pursue studying developmental psychology later on and am thus excited to be part of the Children’s School!
